OUR STORY

Aaron Parkinson, the founder of RaceBar Social, had always been on the lookout for innovative and exciting attractions that could set his Family Entertainment Center apart from the competition. In 2021, he decided to attend the IAAPA in Europe to explore new ideas.

ONE DAY..

While making his way back to his hotel, Aaron heard the sounds of a raucous crowd coming from a nearby bar. Curious, he decided to investigate and found himself in the midst of a group of people gathered around a mini racetrack. The excitement in the room was palpable as friends competed against each other in RC car races, all while enjoying cold pints of beer served by attentive waitstaff.

DEVELOPMENT..

Aaron was immediately intrigued by the concept and saw an opportunity to bring it back to the USA. After returning from his trip, he shared the idea with his team, and they decided to develop the attraction in-house.

Over the next six months, they held weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions to ensure the integrity of the finished product. A skilled fabricator was brought in to develop the framework of the track and driver’s stand. The finished product was delivered to Xtreme Action Park and installed in Q4 of 2022.

FIRST SUCCESS..

The initial launch was a resounding success, with customers raving about their experience. With the success of the first track, RaceBar Social has turned its focus on expansion, seeking partners who are interested in adding excitement and play to their establishments. RaceBar Social is enthusiastic about expanding to more locations in the future and believes that both standard bar concepts and Family Entertainment Centers are well-suited for an RC track.
